Sourcing brief
Choose what you ship on Your details first, so the brief can carry the right commodity code.
Use these briefs inside Accio Work
The briefs are written around your goods, so add them on Products first. The plugin installs without them, and an Accio agent can then test an order for you.
Install the plugin
No account or key is needed for this plugin. It answers with your own figures and published data only.
- Open Accio Work and go to its Plugins screen.
- Click Add plugin.
- Click Import plugin: import a plugin for local installation only.
- Drag the file you downloaded onto the dialog, or click it and pick the file.
- Confirm a server named tde appears and shows as enabled.
Re-import the file whenever it changes. The plugin linked here is version 0.1.0; if the number on this page moves, download it again and repeat the steps above.
What the agent will do
Once the plugin is installed, an Accio agent can call TDE itself. It calls TDE after a quote comes back, before it recommends placing the order.
- A brief goes out, and a supplier replies with a price, a minimum order, a lead time, payment terms and a capacity.
- If more than one reply is back, the agent compares every quote together first, before it checks any single one against your plan.
- Before it recommends an order, the agent tests it: whether your own cash, budget and stock can carry the order those terms imply this month.
- If the check finds a gap, the agent relays exactly which figures are missing, rather than guessing one to fill the gap.
- If the order stretches a limit, the agent relays the smallest change that would clear it - not a recommendation to make that change.
- The agent can also read your own lane's current state, or show the plan month by month rather than one verdict.
- It can read notes from people who have shipped this route before, too.
TDE allows 25 calls an hour. Past that, the agent waits for the hour to pass, or you can carry on in Your details on the web app instead.
Give the agent your own figures
The tools take your figures as an argument. Nothing about you is stored on our side, so an agent has to be handed them or it will answer on figures nobody gave it. This file is what you saved, your products included.
